Earn science credits by scuba-diving in Honduras and or hiking the rainforests of Panama this spring with the Tropical Ecology program! Learn more at this free, open information session on October 23 at 12:30PM in MO 318.

The primary goal of these field trips is for students to learn about terrestrial and marine ecosystems and immerse themselves in the local culture. Primary activities include extensive hiking through tropical forests, observing plants and animals in their natural habitats, exploring tree canopies, and snorkeling on the Mesoamerican barrier reef.

Join CIE for a CUP OF CULTURE! The Culture Cup is an international and internationally minded lounge space for all students to join with FREE coffee and snacks. 

Our first session of the semester in the Uptown Hall's (first floor) Tchoupatoulas Room Prefunction Space will be on Wednesday, September 24 from 12PM - 2PM. Our featured guest is Dr. John C. O'Day, the faculty director for our India J-term study abroad program. He'll be happy to answer any questions about his program. In addition to the usual coffee, we'll also be serving masala chai!
