National Book Award winner Justin Torres will be giving a reading on campus followed by a brief Q&A. Torres is the author of We the Animals (2012) and Blackouts (2023). There will be a pre-reception in front of Monroe Hall at 2:30PM with light food and beverages. This event is co-hosted by The Pirate's Alley Faulkner Society, the English Department, and the Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies.
