Sept 17: Exploring NOLA

Get Fit, Go Play, Stay Involved

The Department of Student Life and Ministry offers numerous campus recreation programs that give you the opportunity to play, compete, live an active lifestyle, and encourage personal wellness. There are a wide range of sports and fitness programs—competitive and non-competitive, organized and informal. Find what moves you!

University Sports Complex

The University Sports Complex (USC) is ready to help you stay fit! Group fitness classes are a great way to get more active and build community. If you want help achieving a specific fitness goal, personal training can jumpstart your workout routine. The USC offers small-group personal training sessions, and you can start by scheduling an assessment to find out if personal training is a good fit for you. Check the USC website for weekly fitness classes and personal training options

Cheer on the Pack

Loyola is home to Wolf Pack Athletics, a member of the National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC). We have 18 different teams and more than 300 student athletes that you can support! All Loyola students can attend sporting events for free with their student ID. Get to know our student athletes and follow us on social media for all the latest updates!

Join an Intramural Team

Sign up for intramurals as a free agent or with a group of friends! Intramurals started earlier this month and will run through the semester. Follow Campus Rec on Instagram to see upcoming sports leagues and events. For questions about intramural leagues, email getinvolved@loyno.edu

Find a Recreational Club

Club sports are self-organized and self-run university chartered student organizations that are sponsored by the Department of Student Life and Ministry. From soccer to dance to chess, you’ll find a mix of competitive and non-competitive opportunities. To find out more information, search HowlConnect for the specific club sport you are interested in and reach out to the president!
