Filmmaking

Your passion drives you to share your ideas

Loyola University’s Filmmaking Program is planted in the heart of Hollywood South with major films being shot day and night both on and around our beautiful campus.

Our program aspires to cultivate artists of character and conscience, possessed of a wholistic understanding of the medium and a dedication to the craft and, further, to inculcate and inspire, in these artists, the intentional creation of stories that can build a more thoughtful, compassionate, and inclusive world.

Popular and Commercial Music

The Beatles. Kendrick Lamar. Alicia Keys. Talking Heads. Adele. What do these performers have in common?

They’ve all made music that is creative, artful, challenging, innovative—but also wildly commercially successful. Our popular and commercial music program welcomes rock musicians, rappers, EDM artists, singer/songwriters and all other musicians who might not necessarily have a background in classical or jazz.
