The presentation of a Senior Thesis project represents the culmination of a student’s work over two or three semesters.  Each student has developed their own project in alignment with their own interests in Psychology, and have worked individually with one of the faculty members of the department who has served as their research advisor.  For students in the University Honors Program, a senior thesis is required, but for other students, this work has been done by choice, and for all students involved, their dedication and persistence is admired and respected by all involved.

The Loyola University New Orleans Environment students have been working hard the past few years to enhance their on-campus curriculum through their capstone experiences.  To earn a degree from the Environment Program, each student must complete a project which further develops their skills as a scholar.  Some choose an internship where the practical experience usually involves service-learning with a community, government, tourism, or non-government organization.  Others choose research that involves novel ideas developed through data collection or library study.  These exper
