Darcy Courteau ’03 was awarded a 2020 American Mosaic Prize for Journalism for her essay, “Mireya’s Third Crossing.” Published in The Atlantic Monthly in June 2019, “Mireya’s Third Crossing” follows one Mexican woman’s journey to attain a U.S. visa.
