FreeAlumni and friends are invited to join the Loyola University New Orleans Alumni Association at Fort Hunt Park for a picnic. Light refreshments and snowballs will be served. Please note that while attendees are welcome to BYOB and wine to the picnic area, the park prohibits liquor consumption on the grounds.

Public Health Minor
The public health minor at Loyola University New Orleans can complement many different areas of study—from business administration to mass communication and journalism. As an interdisciplinary program, Loyola’s public health minor includes an exploration of epidemiology, psychology, statistics, ethics, social justice, and other relevant topics.

Since last month’s Pack Press, New Orleans and the world lost an all-time musical great when Kidd Jordan passed away on April 7. Loyola celebrated Mr. Jordan’s accomplishments and legacy as a musician, music educator, and father at our 2017 Commencement by awarding him an honorary doctorate.

Under the requirements of the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA), Loyola will not discuss or disclose any elements of your educational record except for “directory information” without your explicit consent. To provide this consent, you must complete the online Student Records Release form in LORA Self-Service for each individual that you wish to authorize Loyola to discuss your educational records with. Without this authorization, Loyola will not respond to requests for information about your educational record from an unauthorized individual.
