July 30: Wolf Pack Welcome
We are excited to welcome you to campus! Your Loyola experience starts with Wolf Pack Welcome on August 14-17, 2025. This is a mandatory program designed to kick off the fall semester for the newest members of the Pack. You’ll participate in a variety of programs and events to help you prepare for classes, meet other incoming students, take part in Loyola traditions, and more!

Parent Programming at Wolf Pack Welcome
We have optional programming for parents and caregivers during Wolf Pack Welcome available on Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15. If your parents/caregivers plan to attend during Wolf Pack Welcome, please complete our guest registration form. View the “Parents & Caregivers” events marked with a gold dot in the Guidebook app.
Please note: The registration form is for parents/caregivers only; the form requires student information so that we may connect your parents/caregivers to your account in our system.
New Student Convocation Live Stream
Parents and caregivers who are unable to attend Wolf Pack Welcome in person are invited to tune into the live stream of our New Student Convocation on Thursday, August 14 at 3:45 p.m. CT on Loyola’s YouTube Channel. Complementing their Commencement ceremony four years later, this ceremony serves as a milestone, marking the launch of academic life at Loyola.
When and Where Do I Check-In for Wolf Pack Welcome?
We look forward to welcoming you to campus for our opening session! Please report to the University Sports Complex (USC) on the fifth floor in the same building as the Freret Street Garage at 8:45 a.m. on August 14 for the opening session. Our on-campus staff can guide you to the correct location and answer your questions. You’ll still need to download the Guidebook app to access your full schedule.
Where Can I Park?
If you will be driving to campus, please visit the Maps and Directions site for detailed information on how to access campus. Parking is available free of charge during Wolf Pack Welcome in both the West Road and Freret Street Garages. Both garages will also have an unloading zone available on the first floor for you to move your items.

The Career Development Center and Office of Financial Aid invite you to learn all about the Federal Work Study Program (FWS) at Loyola University! Student eligibility to participate in the Federal Work Study Program is determined yearly based on the information provided on the FAFSA and is awarded via the student's Federal Financial Aid Package. To view your financial aid award to see if you are Federal Work Study eligible, login to LORA Self Service (via SSO). Discover everything you need to know about FWS, including its rules, regulations, and the plethora of opportunities and benefits available to eligible students.
