By Loyola University on Thu, 05/05/2022 - 14:43

A record-breaking eleven Loyola students received Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarships to participate in study abroad and intern abroad programs in the coming semesters.

With an acceptance rate of one in four students, or 25 percent, this competitive award run by the U.S. Department of Education supports undergraduates who are traditionally underrepresented in study abroad. Loyola's acceptance rate of 50% is higher than the national average.

Please join Loyola University New Orleans and its Center for International Education in congratulating: Jabez Berniard, Peyton Finch, Hallé Gugsa, Josi Guidry, Macie LaFonta, Augie Lodholz, Mohamed Mohamed, Anna Nguyen, Heather Rabassa, Kaliah Rodgers, and Victoria Sosa. We wish them well in their adventures and travels!
