Creating a Beloved Community
Join LUCAP for Creating a Beloved Community, an MLK Jr. Day art project that invites participants to reflect on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of justice, unity, and collective care. Community members will paint individual canvases that will be assembled into a shared Beloved Community Canvas Quilt, symbolizing how our unique stories and expressions come together to form something stronger.
This hands-on, collaborative experience is open to all, with no prior art experience required. All materials will be provided. Join us to paint, create, and connect as we honor Dr. King’s legacy through creativity and community building.
