Bio

Dr. Alicia A. Yancy joined the accounting faculty in the College of Business in Fall 2021 and holds the Rev. Joseph A. Butt, S.J., Distinguished Professorship in Accounting.

Dr. Yancy earned a PhD in Accounting from the University of Southern California, MBA from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Houston. Prior to her career in academia, Dr. Yancy held several positions in accounting and finance at Weston Solutions and BMC Software. She holds an active Colorado CPA license.

Dr. Yancy’s research interests are focused on performance measurement, the Balanced Scorecard, and Accounting Education.
