Stallings Hall

The Evening Division is located on the second floor of Stallings Hall on Loyola University New Orleans' Main Campus.

J. Edgar and Louise S. Monroe Library

The J. Edgar and Louise S. Monroe Library is a state-of-the-art, 150,000-square-foot library that offers a variety of seating for more than 700 students and provides abundant wired and wireless access to the Internet. The library offers three computer labs, two multimedia classrooms, four seminar rooms, 14 group study rooms, and an art gallery. The library houses a multimedia production classroom featuring computer workstations loaded with video, audio, imaging, and music production software. The library can accommodate a collection of up to 500,000 volumes and features a reading room for the use of its valuable archival and special collections.

The Monroe Library’s holdings include more than 375,000 volumes, access to more than 27,000 e-books and 36,000 print and electronic journals, 11,000 music scores, 357,000 microform units, and 5,500 media titles. Faculty and graduate students enjoy borrowing privileges at most of the area’s academic libraries. Loyola and Tulane Universities offer reciprocal library borrowing privileges to undergraduates through the TULU program. The library’s interlibrary loan service provides materials not available at Loyola’s libraries.

University Sports Complex

Loyola students have full access to Loyola’s sports facility which includes an olympic-size swimming pool, jogging track, racquetball and handball courts, locker rooms with sauna and steam rooms, weight conditioning areas, and courts for basketball, tennis, volleyball, etc. Family memberships are available at an additional charge.
