Department chair publishes articles, book chapter
Dr. Philip Dynia recently published encyclopedia articles on a variety of areas of constitutional law and judicial politics. He also recently contributed a chapter on the study of political science to a book introducing students to the liberal arts.
Political Science professor co-edits book on European security values
Dr. Mary Troy Johnston was co-editor of the book, Old Europe, New Security: Evolution for a Complex World, which was published in 2006 in the United Kingdom by Ashgate Publishing Company and co-edited with Janet Adamski and Christina M. Schweiss.
Dr. Conrad Raabe called on for political analysis of Iraq war
In the three month time period of the planning and invasion stages of the Iraq war, Political Science professor Dr. Conrad Raabe was called upon to do on-air analysis for 12 regular TV news presentations and three Sunday morning in-depth news broadcasts.

Dr. Peter Burns was recently honored for excellence in student advising at the 2009 College of Social Sciences Honors Convocation.
Longtime political science professor honored for teaching
Dr. Edward Renwick was presented the "Professor of the Year" Award at the 2009 College of Social Sciences Honors Convocation. Dr. Renwick retired from the Department of Political Science in Spring 2009.
Dr. Roger White participates in lecture on Balkan art and politics
Dr. Roger White, vice provost and associate professor, was part of a lecture and panel discussion held at Loyola University in February 2009 on Balkan Art and Politics on Both Sides of the Serbian/Kosovo Border.
