In a world where the most vital issues facing humankind inevitably find their way into the political process, your learned skills will apply to any job setting. The Department of Political Science gives you the needed educational background to go on to law or graduate school—or to directly embark on your career.
These hours are distributed over the following areas: American Government and Constitution (nine hours), Comparative Government (six hours), Political Theory (six hours), International Relations (three hours), and advanced electives (nine hours). In their senior year, students also must complete POLSA495, our capstone course.
