BSN degree program for RNs who are graduates of associate degree or diploma programs

  • 120 credit-hour program
  • Classes for individual courses meet one night per week in either the eight-week or fifteen-week format. Students typically schedule two or three classes each term.
  • A two-phase, accelerated RN-to-MSN program is available for RNs who plan to enter Loyola's Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner or Health Care Systems Management MSN program after completing the BSN degree at Loyola.
  • Available on campus in New Orleans, in Baton Rouge, and at select off-campus learning sites throughout Louisiana

MSN degree program for Health Care Systems Management

  • Metro New Orleans area students have the option to attend on campus or online
  • Online Program option also available to students residing outside of the Louisiana area
  • On campus classes meet one night per week
  • A 36 credit hour program
  • Prepares the RN to take the Commission for Case Manager Certification Exam or the American Nurses Association Certification Exam in Nursing Administration

MSN degree program to prepare Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP)

  • A 45 credit-hour program
  • Prepares the RN to obtain an advanced practice license and to take one of the national FNP certification examinations

MSN degree program to prepare Adult Nurse Practitioners (ANP)

  • A 39 credit-hour program
  • Prepares the RN to obtain an advanced practice license and to take one of the national ANP certification examinations

Post-MSN program to prepare for the FNP or ANP certification examination

  • Opened to all RNs with MSN degrees
  • Prepares the RN to take the national FNP or ANP certification exams

MSN BLEND program for RNs with non-nursing bachelor's degrees

  • Prepares the RN to enter one of Loyola's MSN programs without obtaining a BSN degree
