Short Bio

Valerie Andrews joined the faculty in Fall 2007 as a full-time extraordinary faculty member in the public relations and advertising sequences. In Fall 2011 she was named director of the Shawn M. Donnelley Center for Nonprofit Communications.

She also has taught at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, where she was a tenured assistant professor of Mass Communication, and at LSU, University of Southern Mississippi and Tulane.

She has worked extensively in public relations and advertising for industries ranging from RVs and food service to printing and educational materials. She has more than 30 years of nonprofit consulting and volunteer work.
