Funding the Jesuit Social Research Institute
A substantial portion of JSRI’s operating funds come from an endowment still being jointly raised by the Jesuits of the New Orleans Province and Loyola University, with each entity contributing to the operating funds until the full endowment can be achieved. The remainder of the annual budget must be raised annually from benefactors, grants, contracts, income from teaching and speaking, and fees for service.
