Investigator

Primary Responsibilities/Job Summary:

Kroll Government Services is seeking Investigators, both contractor and full-time, to assist us in protecting the National Security.  Primary duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Investigators will conduct background investigations for the purpose of employment suitability of persons who require access to sensitive or classified U.S. Government information.
  • Investigators will conduct face-to-face interviews with the subject, his/her neighbors, coworkers, friends and family.
  • Investigators will also perform record searches at police agencies, courthouses, educational/financial institutions and medical/mental health facilities.
  • Investigators will report all information obtained in a clear and concise report.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree or three years work-related and/or military experience, intermediate typing and computer skills and possess U.S. citizenship.  Due to the nature of this position, a valid driver’s license and transportation is required.  Must have excellent writing and communication skills and have the ability to deal with various types of individuals.  Ability to work independently is a must.  In addition, investigators may have to travel and may be required to work extended hours.
